I am part of everyone and I don't use WD-40 for my laundry. It is good for a lot of things and maybe some people are just in the habit of using it for everything.

Well my theory is this. WD-40 is like baling wire it is used for many uses. I do use wd-40 to remove stain along with spraying it on my lawn sprinkler it assist with the spraying when the head becomes clogged. I spray it on my gates to make them open easier and they lose the squeak. Heck I don't know why all this stuff works, but I am not going to complain.

Since you know about the WD and the 40 you probably know that after getting the formula right on the 40th try the inventors also found numerous other uses for WD40. its great for taking glue off items, its great for taking stuff off of glass, it cuts through grease and some people swear that by spraying it on sore joints that it takes the pain away. I have 3 cans at home at all time and continue to find other uses besides water displacement! Great stuff

If it works for other things then it`s a great product.
Read their website for other great uses for WD-40.
Rubbing Alcohol was not made to clean windows and other things, but it`s a great glass cleaner. News paper were not printed to clean glass, but it also is a GREAT glass cleaner.
Kerosene was made yrs ago for ppl to be able to use lamps, but HEY they found out it cleaned clothes GOOD, so that is were we get dry cleaning.
If it works then use it!!!
I have read answers on here for ppl to use peanut butter to remove gum, it just for eating RIGHT?. It works for this also, I have removed gum from my hair as a child.
So if you find something that works use it, you might invent something new and become famous...:)
Have a great day

Oxy clean, you can mix it strong to spot remove or put smaller amounts in the washing machine to slowly brighten clothes over a few washes.
