You only need him to sign if it's a divorce by consent. If he won't agree, then you have to sue him, take it to court and let the judge sign the divorce papers and property settlement orders.

...and he is STILL abusing you, resorting tot he only effective means at the moment!!!!!!! It's called "emotional abuse." Why? Because he CAN.
I don't know where you live, but I had a similar situation with my ex. I had done all my homework before I left him because I KNEW he would not give me a divorce willingly, in an effort to continue controlling my life. Where I live, after two years of legal separation, I was able to file a "no contest" divorce which was automatically granted. I would suggest finding some legal advice from a professional to figure out where to go from here. Best of luck to you.

Don't know what state you live in but from here it makes no difference if the other does not want the divorce, they are forced into signing the papers. Go to the court house and let them know what is going on and they will go after him and make him sign the papers or else he will go to jail for being in contempt of court.

Don't worry about it. Take his asz to court. If you know where he lives stay away from him so he don't run away again. Go to court he will be served and he will have to go. And if he refuses to go and refuses to sign the paperwork the court can still grant the divorce regardless of his position. Good Luck

You may have to take him back to court to have the judge have him sign the papers in his presences. Talk to your lawyer. 3 years is long time.

I am a paralegal in wisconsin. In most states, you can file paper work to get a summary judgement against your soon to be ex. If he is court ordered to appear, then he must show up. Get a process server and serve him paper work!

in spite of in case you do not signal, the court docket can, and could, dissolve the union. there is no criminal grounds to rigidity 2 human beings to proceed to be married. not signing the place of work artwork would even get you said and fined for being in contempt of court docket.
