I know that the Caspian Sea is a huge lake, but I see that the first poster has a good experience, so, this must be it!

No there is no sea route as the Caspian sea is landlocked

.Isn't the Caspian Sea a lake??? So I would presume that there would have to be at least a portion of an overland route.
