If we save blaming previous politicians the concern will in no way bypass away

Absolutely nothing. After all this country fought and won two wars to keep the germans out and now Blair and his cronies are letting Europe rule this country through politics. Also why should we have to change our long established traditions to cause no offence to racial minorites - if we go to their country we have to abide with their traditions so why change ours when they come here???

It has given Scotland and Wales devolved government which Scotland, chiefly, wanted for a long time. It restored devolution to Northern Ireland after 25 years, only the politicians there messed things up. It restored a London-wide government after Thatcher abolished it in 1986. It removed the unfair privilege of hundreds of hereditary peers to simply show up to parliament and vote on laws.

It has done more for gay rights than any previous government (which you may take as a good or bad thing). It hasn't joined the Euro. It passed a Freedom of Information Act which has created a more open government. The minimum wage stopped employers from paying staff insulting amounts of money. And it won the Olympics for London in 2012 (which may end up costing too much, I know).

I think Tony Blair should go now and stand trial for his aggressive war in Iraq, but it's unfair to say that they've done nothing. There are a lot of pathetic whingers on this page who aren't giving any thought to their answers.

I agree with all the above.

But when they got into power they made the Bank of England independent, which has given a decade of financial stability.

Every thing else has been one big f*ck up really...

sigh....
