Sure does, your opinion is being heard. Why else would people's questions and answers keep getting deleted? This section of y/a is becoming a mini civil rights movement. People post, others delete them because they don't like the question or answer because it doesn't agree with their thinking. It's freedom of speech trying to be strangled by a small slice of small minded people. It appears bigotry is alive and well in this section. Does deleting people's remarks really matter? Other than losing points, it won't stop me from responding to outrageous questions filled with either lies, half-truths, or completely inaccurate statements.

Whatever you do in good faith makes a difference no matter if some of the audience is ignorant or do not agree with what you say. If your comments, thoughts are censored or deleted that means they are of some value.
In the path of truth, do not get discouraged by lack of followers.

Posting political comments is not a proper use of Yahoo! Answers. The purpose is to allow members to post legitimate questions, in the hopes of getting reasonable answers.

Many of the political comments which I read make me think the writers are full-blown idiots.

If a writer expresses whacked-out ideas and uses bad grammar or bad language, he is not going to persuade anyone of anything.

I'm not sure wether it matters or not,but i'm sure that some Q get deleted without any good reason,it hapened to me in my Q about israel also,i posted 2 Q about the israeli massacres in Gaza, and both of them were deleted after i got about 10 answers to each one!!!and in the second one, they didnt even bother to send me the reason for the delete on my mail !!!
It looks like the zionists have some influence here also like what they have in all western media!!!

I think it may be an indicator of how the people are thinking. Other than that, it probably doesn't do anything for anyone other than the poster. But sometimes it just feels good to vent and get ones opinion out there.

Why are you still posting since you feel that way. Also, if you don't follow the rules your question can get deleted no matter which side you are on.

I think it would if they would actually take the time to read some of this stuff. They ARE S`POSED TO REPRESENT THE VIEWS OF THE PEOPLE,and this place is FOR SURE a good place to get some of our opinions,ha ha . If nothing else it makes me feel better to VENT.

I think the main benefit is for the poster. We all need to be able to voice our opinions, and we all need to find solace in other's likemindedness.

It would behove us to also value the opinions of others, especially those who disagree.
