Yes, the tsunami will hit the northern isles of Japan, and the waves will be about 6.5 feet high. All residents of the area were warned to flee the coastline.

There is certainly an alert out...it's due to hit North Japan and Russia around now...I sincerely hope it is not of the same magnitude as the last severe one.

It was only 40cm when it hit Japan so I don't think we need to brace ourselves for a celeb charity record release for christmas.
