Well India is indeed the mother of civilizations and great religions, however Africa is the place where modern humans arose from, then migrated to India and from India, humans to West Asia into Europe. I believe all Europeans owe there civilizations to India. Btw, India did invade alot of other Lands, especially Afghanistan, and the Great Tamil Chola Empire invaded South East Asia and introduced Hinduism. I am Tamil, from Tamil Eelam, my people, my culture, my religion all originated in India, so no I can't say I am a Proud Indian since I am not Indian, however I will say...... I LOVE INDIA!

I hope you have heard of certain Mr. Navjot Singh Siddhu. He once said - "Statisitics are like bikinis, they show everything, but hide vital points"

Talking about your data, first of all, WHAT is THE SOURCE???

I agree there are problems in Indian system, but situation is not so grave as you want us to think. There are several bigger problems than food. Such as even with surplus food stocks, many Indians die of starvation. You should think about that first and collect data about it.

And there is no need to degrade the good work done by India in IT sector by highlighting other problems. IT revolution has nothing to do with food stocks.

Dude...if you are sooo worried and concerned about India. Why don't you jump in and do something to improve the state rather than 'cribbing' about it? That shall 'debug' some part of the problem which is bugging you.

what is your question here? i mean we understand that u are bugged by the situation so are majority of us. we all know what u have mentioned, but do u have any solutions for all this? some way we can get rid of all these evils? we all know the problems but no one has a concrete solution to it all. till we can find some replacement or solution we just go along with it & bear it.

Why you are looking at the negative side only. You seem to think that things are gloomy only in India and elsewhere it is all rosy.
