Without throwing all sorts of moral issues into this answer....
You can not hide an abortion from a medical professional. You can hide it from your family and friends (since your medical records can not be disclosed to anyone unless you authorize it)but not from a professional. An abortion is a medical procedure. There are many tell tale signs that will be detected.... blood work, trauma or lack of, the uterus itself.....
Simply put.... No you can not have an abortion then go to your hospital and say you lost it.

Depending on what method abortion was used, the doctors at the hospital would be able to tell based on trauma to the vagina and uterus, chemicals in the blood, a dilated cervix, etc. You should not lie to a medical professional though. It really does you no good to lie to people who are trying to treat you because it just sets them back and eventually costs you more money for the tests they have to run to find out the truth.

Lying to friends, family, acquaintances, etc is really up to you. Your medical procedures are private matters that cannot be accessed by anyone else who is not relevant to your care. Hiding an abortion is a very common thing because of the social repercussions that may stem from it. I personally wouldn't blame a girl one bit for keeping it private.

I don't know where you live, but in the uk there are private clinics you can go to (e.g Marie Stopes) where your doctor will not be informed if you prefer not to. However, it's not easy to have an abortion, it's an emotional time and you will need support from a friend/ family member.
In terms of going to hospital, I doubt very much that anyone will be able to tell that you have had an abortion and not a miscarriage from a physical examination, although they probably will be able to see through your lies. Don't worry about telling people in the medical profession, they will not judge you. It's better to be honest with them as it may affect your treatment. Please don't be ashamed of it, it's quite normal and a huge proportion of women will have an abortion in their lives. Good luck.

No one can hide an abortion. If you will abort a human being and complications would occur and you run to the hospital, they will know if you made up your stories. How? by so many factors that the professionals in the medical field know about.

Most likely the doctors at the hospital would be able to tell that you had aborted your child. When you are pregnant, your cervix is tightly closed to protect your baby. During an abortion, the cervix must be forced open, which often causes tearing and damage. In addition, your reproductive organs can be damaged by the sharp instruments the abortionist inserts. (Abortion is a "blind procedure." The abortionist cannot see what he is doing as he scrapes your baby out of your womb.) The doctors would be able to see the damage to your cervix and possibly to your other organs.

You do NOT have to abort. You can do the right thing and let your baby live.

they can tell that you aborted it, dont try to hide it, it can make things worse if you do, if you are having problems due to an abortion, you need to go get medical help and just be honest with them, they are trained professionals, they are not going to look at you any different.

Your doctor will know if you've had an abortion, but he's not allowed to tell anyone, so that information will stay between you and him

there's no way they could tell but you have to be sure about what you are going to say there...it has to sound like you miscarried....belleding,cramps, passing cloths....stuff like that....they may be suspicious, but they can't prove it.
