Go to a monastery, whether it's Buddhist, Christian or whatever. Meditate on life and its meaning, learn about the more spiritual side of things and how material wealth is completely useless.
Do this for a year and I guarantee that you will return a millionaire or at least feel like one.

You are not asking the right question. A good profitable business no matter what it is usually takes about 3 years to make a good amount of money. Start a real business with quality products that HELP people, and they will throw money at you as fast as they can.

Your question should be: how do I go from nothing to something in one year's time? Nothing to a million? It's like saying, "How do I go from being homeless to winning the Nobel Prize in the next 12 months?" You don't.
