Both Sean Connery & Pierce Brosnan were prefect for their times.I haven't seen Connery much so I would settle for Brosnan.I m also looking forward to Daniel Craig's "Casino Royale"...to see if he has that 007 licence to thrill...

Sean Connery held up the best as far as looks go and was the original. Roger Moore (believe it or not, was the 1st choice for Bond but was under contract - The Saint) was more of a charmer but started to look too old by his 5th outing, For Your Eyes Only. Pierce Brosnan came in at a time when the Bond dynasty was fading quite a bit (his best film in my opinion, GoldenEye). Had he taken over in 1986 as planned, he might have done better than he did (not that he did bad). Lazenby doesn't count - one film. Dalton couldn't act his way out of a f'n paper bag.

Best Bond - Connery
Runner-Up - Moore

Best Film - Goldfinger, Live And Let Die (Tie)

BTW - I think a lot of Connery's 007 and Moore's 007 movies succeeded because they were written to each of their strengths.

I like Brosnan. But I also liked Roger Moore and Sean Connery. I think Dalton is much better as a villain than a Bond.

This is music-related how?....

Anyway, Roger Moore for me. Then Sean, then Brosnan.

Why Moore? Because:

-unlike Sean, he was The Nice/Funny Bond. We wasn't prone to slapping women around. He made them laugh.

-he easily has the coolest car. From 'Spy Who Loved Me', the white Lotus Esprit that doubled as a submarine.

-He was (up to now) the only true Englishman of the bunch.

-He was actually the producers' 1st choice to play Bond over Sean, but he had other obligations at the time.

Roger Moore rocks!

I can`t say Connery is better than Brosnan or the opposite!
They both served their roles perfectly! They both were a great choice!

Its has to be Sean Connery - He is just so smooth and convincing as Bond. It was a role that he was born to play and he is just so sexy
