Invite Earl for dinner. He smells like old cheese. If he can't make it, contact me - I've got a nice dead skunk I need to get rid of. And if even that generous offer isn't to your liking, just have any Republican stop in for a while. You'll soon realize that the smell of fish is far better.

Try burning some candles for a few hours. I really like the ones made by Glade. They come in lots of different fragrances, are quite inexpensive and should neutralize any odors in your home. I burn them whenever I am having people over and receive many comments on how good my house smells. Next time, burn them while you are cooking the fish or any other "fragrant" dinner and you will avoid the problem even more.

Wow! I don't know what kind of fish you fried but? We live on the Great Lakes, Lake Huron and I fish all the time, Salmon, Walleye, Perch. I don't know what type of fish would smell this bad.
You must have burned the fish. You can try something like "Fabreeze" something with a lemon scent to it, it might work.

Sorry this doesn't really help you out now, but try frying outside. I plug my deep fryer in outside and set it up on the grill. My ex used to keep a pan on his grill just for frying (it will be blackened on the outside from the fire so you probably don't want to use it inside). I could never get the smell of fried food out of my house, so I just stopped frying food inside. It sucks if it is cold outside, but then you just call your friends up and offer to cook them dinner at their house...

Put a few bowls of vinegar around the kitchen...it absorbes odors or put a pan on the stove with citrus slices and cinnamon with watter, let it boil and enjoy the aroma!!!

Cut either a lemon or an onion in half and leave it in the room. It should absorb the odour.
