Who else thinks that the USA and most americans are arrogant. They proclaim themselves the best coutry in the world when were in debt about $10 TRillion. We say were protecting the wolrd by going into Iraq but really were gaining friends in the Middle East for cheaper oil. We say that no more countries can have nucleur weapons but we keep making them in Area 51 (rumor and a sole-opinion of mine) and finally our sporting event. The world series.

This is the best to fire bullets at. The world series. The name says WORLD so shouldnt the WORLD be represented in it? Not just OUR baseball teams but teams from around the WORLD.
at least when the they call it the WORLD CUP theres 32 teams from around the world, and one representing each continent

Let me just say before I answer your question properly that I'm not American. I don't love America but I don't hate it for spurious reasons either.

You are wrong on several "facts".

1) The explanation is that when the term "World's Championship Series" was first used in the 1880s, baseball was almost exclusively confined to North America, especially at a highly skilled (and paid) level. Thus it was understood that the winner of the major league championship was the best baseball team in the world. The title of this event was soon shortened to "World's Series" and later to "World Series".

2) It is highly unlikely that nuclear weapons are made at Area 51. Even if they were (and that would be pure guesswork) it's almost impossible that they're made EXCLUSIVELY at Area 51. That would be stupid. Nukes are made at various secure military bases all over the United States.

3) Most Americans, in my experience, are not arrogant. Many that I've met and spoken to are very nice, cordial and friendly. With a population of 300 million it stands to reason that a large number of Americans will be arrogant, just as in any other country, but I wouldn't agree that MOST Americans are arrogant.

The US Government, having the resources of the world's only remaining superpower at its fingertips, sure are arrogant bastards, however. They were quite wrong to invade Iraq, in fact, the USA has quite a bad track record at invading countries since WWII (which arguably they would not have entered into if it wasn't for Pearl Harbour - by the time they joined the war, the UK and its allies had done considerable damage to the Germans, although they didn't have many resources left to fight and the US invention of the atom bomb surely put an end to the war before more lives were lost).

Maybe they call it the World Series because the players in Major League Baseball represent many countries, but they did have like some kind of actual world-wide baseball tournament this last spring.

A simple way to take measure of a country is to look at how many want in... And how many want out. It sure doesn't look like we have a problem with people leaving.

I also noticed that you are proudly showing the Israeli's flag as your picture, let me ask you who other than the USA has ever given more support than us to Israel?

Also, who would replace the US as the world peace keepers, Canada, Iran, or Pakistan, Germany or maybe North Korea, oh I know, the French? And the UN is not the the correct answer, I don't think that they have ever been perceived to have had a military presents anywhere. Actual I think that we should stop giving any money, and people to the UN. Give the head quarters building to homeless. Hell the money we would save would pay the deficit off in no time. Whille we are at, stop giving aid to any and all countries, they all seem to hate us anyways, and hey thats even more cost savings, we could lower taxes, and pay off what the country owes.

remember, maximum uncomplicated track is predicated in earlier American varieties, including jazz and the blues. it particularly is somewhat stupid of a element, there are great bands and artists from the U. S. and from the united kingdom, the united kingdom gave us the Stones, Beatles and the Who; the U. S. birthed Chuck Berry, Michael Jackson, Jimi Hendrix and Nirvana, on the different hand, the U. S. pooped out Keisha, however the united kingdom is answerable for what sounds like 1000 untalented "pop brownies".

Wow! There is much to reply about. Starting with the World Series remarks...Perhaps they are referring to the world of baseball, not the rest of the world who apparently finds baseball very boring. Baseball does not represent USA so it's quite weak considering such a topic.

Since we are undereducated, ignorance breeds arrogance. A generalization such as most Americans are arrogant could only be made by the undereducated. If we spent more money on education and less on the rest of the world where we are damned if we do and damned if we don't, then we'd have better resources for education. Of course, saving money on oil prices would help in the end, too.

Regarding oil...wouldn't we be really stupid if we had only enemies in the world? Friends in the Middle East? Come on! What I wish the worldwide population would realize, America does not want or need friends like the Israeli Jews who are baby killers, does not want or need friends who tolerate and shelter terrorists, does not want or need friends who are freaking bizarre in their attitudes and treatment towards women and eachother.

Tell me oh humble & highly intelligent ones...How does one country befriend Arabs and Jews? You are all very mean to eachother and America wants only peace for everyone. It would be nice if we could share the oil, too. God knows America has certainly shared much of her resources with the world. No wonder she is in debt.

Right now half the world would immigrate here if given the chance could you please spread the word that it's not so great here so they will not want to come. A good portion of the world are free and are some of the wealthiest nations on earth because of our arm forces. example Britain, France, Germany, Japan, Italy, South Korea,Kuwait Tiawan, Iraq if given a chance, which other nation can claim that I would really like to know.

I agree with you that its like America proclaims itself the best country and its own the world. There are other great nations in the world.
In such games every continent should be represented and a lot of teams should take part in games.
