I do believe they can be haunted. In more ways than one. I believe it can retain the imprint of someone who lived there before and I also believe that it retains the energy of the people who have lived there before. Especially if the people were very good or very bad. The stronger the energy, the stronger the imprint.

Yes. I believe that spirits can live in some houses. Some kind of a "fluke" but it does happen. My sister lived in a house that had friendly, mischevious poltergiest living there. They would turn on the radio at odd hours, play her daughter's flute in the middle of the night, and beat on my sister's drums. They often could hear their "footsteps" coming up the cellar steps, and sometimes in the middle of the night, they would be awakened by a bright light in the room. Several times the washing machine would start running all by itself. These little guys, or spirits, or whatever they are, never hurt them - they just carried out there little tricks and had fun. So yes, I believe houses have spirits in them. How they get thre or what they really are, I have no idea. Myself, I have never seen or heard any.

Yep.
My parent's house is haunted, sometimes by a poltergheist (the type of spirit that moves things - including sending objects flying around the room) even!
I've also visited other people's houses that were haunted.

Yes tonight (15 Nov) on the stairs saw a shadow figure around 6pm no joke! Then the light bulb in my sons bedroom exploded 5 mins later.
This is normal run of the mill here at our house.
We have got a paranormal team coming at the weekend to investigate what is going on. I guess the spooks are getting kinda excited. But this has been going on here for the past 11 months since we moved into this place.

I beleive in spirits, energy left behind by the dead, that the dead walk beside us just transparently... and that they as well live in houses that we do, can the house by it's self be haunted well if it has spirits that live there then I guess it would be considered a haunted house. But the house by it's self probably not...

Yes,but this is all how people feel. My husband thinks there is no such thing as ghost or spirits but I believe them to exist. I have saw several myself, but others think that it is only me, that they follow me for some reason. I have never encountered a n evil spirit. In the house that I live in now me and my kids hear steps in the hall and the living room TV comes on by itself.

Although I enjoy listening such stories, and part of me believes they're true, I do not believe that houses can b haunted. I am a kind of person who believes only in things my eyes have seen.So seeing is believing.:)
Have a nice day:)
