EM.S nambudripad was the first communist chief minister elected through ballots in kerala in 1957. but Nehru did not like communists and Indira Gandhi instigated Christians, naayars and brought pressure on Nehru to dismiss first communist government. Nehru had to succumb pressure brought by his daughter and brought kerala under president rule.nambudripad was not only a politician but also a great scholar. he implemented land reforms which were not liked by land lords and the first communist government in the world was dismissed by congress party.

EMS NaboodariPAd in 1957 was became CM of Kerala after Comunist Party of India won the electors there. It was first elected communist government of any kind in the world, was dismissed within 18 months by Nehru and imposed president's rule

India achieved its independence in 1947 and the state of Kerala was formed in 1956. In 1957, EMS led the Communists to victory in the first election for the state government, making him the first communist leader anywhere to head a popularly elected government.On5th April 1957 he was appointed as the first chief minister of Kerala.

EMS & JYOTU BASU BOTH WERE VERY POPULER & MOST EFFICIENT C.M.S IN MAHA BHARAT.INSTEAD OF NEHRU WE OUGHT TO HAVE LEADERS LIKE SARDAR PATEL OR SUBHASHBABU OR EVEN EMS OR JYOTI BASU- BUT NOT THAT FIRST MUSLIM P.M.
