Kill it !

2006-11-14 21:05:45 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 1 1

It's not a question of being humane or not ,,, Cockroaches are a major carrier of diseases and different maladies harmful to man ,,,, Usually if you see one then the probability of having a thousand is very great ,,,, Insects don't possess feelings ,,,, especially that of love or loyalty or any other type of emotional feeling even towards it's own kind ,,,, They are programed by nature for the purpose of survival only ,,,, Their only agenda is to eat and reproduce ,,,, that's it ,,,,, Turning one loose out side would only result in it's coming back in the house and probably bring a thousand more with it ,,,, That same cockroach could have crawled across human or animal fecal matter just prior to you seeing it craw across a piece of bread you are about to use to make a sandwich with ,,,,, Or it could have just crawled out of the toilet in the bathroom ,,,,, Now what do you think you should do with that cockroach ,,, ?

You shouldn't worry at all. Cockroaches are the great survivors.
It is thought that they'll survive nuclear attacks & fallout.
They can survive 8 or 9 days without a head (evrentually dying of starvation) & they will almost certainly inherit the earth.
A little cold weather is hardly going to concern them.
Kill him? Sure they'll be a million more to take his place.

Dont worry the cockroach will be fine! There are even alpine cockroaches that can freeze (although I doubt he it is one of those). If it helps your karma then release it outside and relax.

Why don't you just make a nice little house for them and keep them as pets - perhaps you could knit them a cosy hat and six pairs of socks each. I'm all for kindness to animals, but these are COCKROACHES for God's sake.

I never kill anything I put any bug I find outside, I might not like them but there is no need to kill them. How would like it if someone came started trying to splat you for no reason.

Throw it outside - They can live through a nuclear blast, so I doubt they'll be bothered by the cold!
