The beings that pilot flying saucers are from earth. They have done a great job of misinformation by convincing us they are from 'someplace else'. Nearly every account of a saucer 'pilot' naming it's 'home-world' is a different place. That's like 25-30 different answers given to the question 'where are you from'? I think it's intentional misdirection and that the truth may be stranger than fiction.
