When i poop, i wear a gas mask and I don't wipe it myself. I let the water spray up my butt and clean the pooh off.

Also, I have a special fan built into my toilet so that it sucks a lot of the pooh smell out.

Its really not bad look at it this way you gonna stop takeing a dump in the bathroom cause its the same thing and smells just about the same you smell yourself when you do it and you clean your self so why not with your precious baby.

It's okay to be grossed out about it but you'll get a hang of it, you just really have to do it for your child (is the baby yours?) out of love. Are you a guy? Well, i've seen lots of fathers doing their baby's pooed diapers and it was really funny since they do tactics just not to smell them. I've seen some wearing face masks; and some were wearing gas masks! There's even one father who wore an astonaut suit! It was crazy, lol! Why don't you wear face masks first? If you're used to changing diapers then maybe you can set aside those masks.

Wow, now that's drastic!!! I'm quite the oppisite... I don't mind it at all.. .We all have had somebody clean our poo at some point in our lives... It's not disgusting.. It's just the way life goes.. If you're that grossed out by it, I suggest you don't have any more kids.. There's going to be a lot more gross things you have to deal with as the kid gets older... I suggest you get over it..

I have to tell you that you may never 'get used to the smell'. I know full grown men with kids that couldn't change a dirty diaper. I've seen them gag their way through it, and one actually puked while changing the kid.
I had one guy bring his kid to me from the other side of town just so I could change her dirty diaper while his wife was at work! lol. I did it for him and laughed at him the whole time.
If you want kids, but can't handle the 'dirty diaper' scene, then have it arranged for one of your friends or family member to do for it you should the need arise. lol
Still can't believe that a tough, full grown man, twice my size couldn't handle a tiny dirty diaper! lol

having children changes people . it could you change you in a good way or bad . my husband was spoiled growing up but when we had our daughter he changed . he didn't change diapers but only because he felt awkward doing it and not because he was grossed out by his own child's poop . me, i was never grossed out because she is my daughter .

Ummm why don't you try just not having children then...
There are nannys out there, but if you can't stand the thought of taking care of what you create, then you shouldn't have kids.

You will get over it once you become a parent. You will find there's nothing you will do for your little one, including changing dirty diapers.
