Okay - I had a similar problem with a leggy, old, leaf-browned and a bit spindly yucca. But you know how the yuccas you buy are basically a stump with three or four big, healthy shoots coming off? Well, I thought if I took it back to a foot/eighteen inch long stump, it might shoot again. You might want to choose an appropriate stump length if your is one of the really big ones, but take it back to bare wood. Mine looked like a stump for a while, then, "ay caramba", sent out loads of shoots from the stump. I reduced these to three and the little devil has never looked back. Lives outside in the summer and comes in for the winter, but you could keep it inside all year. I wouldn't worry too much about conditions - they seem to survive almost everything - just don't overwater (as with all house plants!)
All the best.

You are better not to keep moving plants around the house. If there's been one place where you had the plant and it thrived, then keep it there. They hate draughts and dont like getting splashes of water on their leaves when you water them. Good idea to re-pot with fresh compost and feed in the spring and summer months. Dont overwater your yukka either. Keep the compost damp but not wet.

Hope this helps!

You could try repotting it - it may be hungry and need the nutrients from new soil. Also, try to feed it regularly - Baby Bio is good for house plants. Plus, make sure you water it too! Yuccas like it bright, so place it near a window.

Yucca are forgiving. If by neglect you mean it has dried out, aerate by poking holes in the dirt (scissors, screwdriver, pencil) then water. warm water soaks in quickest. I like Miracle gro, a weak solution can be used at every watering (1/4 tsp / gal water)

good luck
