First: You are spyware infected. Download both "adaware" and "Spybot" install update and run these programs.

When the machine is clean you need to prevent re-infection.

Download Firefox, install and use that as your only web browser. It will not get infected the same way Internet Explorer does.

Try changing your register manually.

Open notepad and paste this inside it :

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]
"Start Page"="http://www.yahoo.com"

If you don't want http://www.yahoo.com to be your home page change to what you want it to be.
Then save the file with a name that ends with .reg like home.reg
close the notepad and doubleclick on the home.reg file you've just created, the computer will ask you if you really want to write that file into the registry, answer yes and check in your browser settings ;)
