I have a friend who talks a lot and can be so irritating at times especially when I'm trying to concentrate on doing something else. Sometimes I just wanna scream at her to shut up but I can't because I don't wanna hurt her feelings. After all, she's a nice person.

Try to interrupt and talk about something else to divert her attention. I know people who are like that, and sometimes I just say something like (oh, i just remembered....or I am off to do some shopping, etc.). It will shut them up and may even get them to start thinking that maybe they just talk too much.

a stable thank you to triumph over your social shyness is to ask questions! all human beings likes to talk approximately themselves or what's happening of their lives. the perfect thank you to in the intervening time to look greater in touch is to ask appropriate questions to the verbal substitute. happening around you! As time is going on, you're able to loosen up and simplicity right into a cushty rhythm. wish this enables you!

hmmmmm...i've got a talkative friend,too....
and one time i talked to her seriously and i asked her first..what are my negative attitudes that you want me to chnge or what actions you don't want me to do when we are together.....then after answering my question....it's my turn also to tell her the things i don't want her to do......so from that time on i always remind her about it.and it didn't hurt her either..just tell it in a nice way or some kind of joking manner....
anyway, she's still your friend..and being talkative is not that big deal,,right???
i know you do accept her whatever and whoever she is,,,
just talk with her...in anice way...it wouldnt hurt that bad enough to ruin your friendship.i know she'll understand...as you've said she's a nice person..goodluck
