Tennie Pierce was served dog food in his spaghetti by fellow firefighters and awarded more than $2.7 million to settle a lawsuit alleging racial harassment within the Los Angeles Fire Department. But as the pictures clearly show, he has hazed other new recruits with pranks far worse than getting dog food fed... Does this guy really deserve $2.7 Million Tax Dollars?!

I think it was to much, I think the only reason that
was done was to set an example on harassment
in the work force.
They have to get them where it hurts. When you are
in the joke it's cool but if you are not in on it then
pay up but not 2.7 Million. that's out of line.

The idiots should not have done that, I bet the ones laughing would not have found it funny had they been the ones eating dog food. I don't feel a bit sorry for accused firefighters a bit they should learn to make better decisions

To be quite honest with you, I can think of a very limited amount of people whom i think deserve that much! I personally think that the government wastes alot of our hard earned money on things that are truly useless. But that is just my opinion.

And also, I can think of several other hazings that have been 100 percent worse and they didnt get a THING!

Ahhhh....but this is the world we live in...

obviously it's not racial with the rest of the firefighters there but from the looks of it what goes from simple prank like water being droped on a fellow colleague to some crazy college **** that shouldn't be in the workplace.

by some ability they made themselves significant to tens of millions of people - probable via doing extra issues suited than they did incorrect. They screwed up, and that they are not being bailed out by way of fact of that yet by way of fact they're nonetheless significant to tens of millions of people. Being too huge to fail is a cynical way of asserting that too many people count number on their no longer failing.

It's not that the guy deserves (or doesn't deserve) the money; it's a question of punishing the people who did it - and in this case, that's the government and its agencies that allowed it to happen.

No thats really lame, you know what else is also lame? In the UK prisoners are set to get thousands of pounds in compensation because they were forced to come off drugs when they went to jail. Isn't that so stupid?
