For hotels, try the Regent, the Sheraton Imperial, Mandarin Oriental, Grand Hotel Maya or the Concorde (recently renovated and lots nicer than it was).

As for clothes, it depends what you're looking for - I can't really help with that.

For best restaurant - Pacifica at Mandarin Oriental, Sandias in Plaza Damansara, Bon Ton, Telawi Street Bistro in Bangsar, Eest or Prego at the Westin, Oggi at the Regent.

Hi nan, Great idea having a 2nd honeymoon, and doing so in Malaysia.

I was last there in 2000, so at the rate of development I may well be out of touch.

But, in KL, I seem to recall the Malaysian dignitaries preferred to stay at the Hotel Istana, and a new hotel was only just built and opened that year at the bottom of Jalan Bukit Bintang near Jalan Alor (but I can't remember the name, sorry. Contact KL's tourist info. office to find out - they're bound to know - same goes for spa's).

Shopping for clothes is EVERYWHERE - you'll be spoilt for choice.

And advice above for best luxury restaurant is sound - although I would avoid the Hotel Concorde if its been raining heavily as they can get badly flooded and you'd need a boat to get out.

That said, KL is probably not the most romantic location in Malaysia, unless you both like "the City" as opposed to the beauty and luxury of the Cameron Highlands (where it's a tad cooler), or the isolation available in many parts of Sabah and Sarawak, or the wee (duty free) island of Labuan. Then there's Penang or Langkawi. Lots of choice, nan.

But if you're flying there from the UK then KL is probably best because transport from KLIA is excellent and you're there for only one week, so you would want to avoid any further travelling once you touch down.

Good luck, and have a great time wherever you decide to go.

* Most of luxury 5 stars hotel in Kuala Lumpur have their own fine dining restaurant for example Lafite at Shangrila Hotel or Villa Danielli at Sheraton Imperial//there are also a lot of luxury eateries in Bangsar, Sri Hartamas, Bandar Utama or One Utama Mall. The heritage row and in KLCC and bukit bintang itself.

personally if you are looking for a romantic trip..Pangkor Laut Resort in Perak or The Datai in Langkawi Island or Tanjong Jara Resort in Terengganu is the MOST PERFECT choice//sure no regret...been there done that..want to do it all over again..and again .

1) Why not you take up berjaya times square hotel, their spa is the Jojoba Spa, its not bad. And berjaya is part of the golden triangle, you can access to major shopping malls by walking. If you don't prefer berjaya, why not marriot, i heard its good.

2)If you want to buy clothes at best price, Berjaya Times Square shopping centre and Sungei Wang Plaza. Their clothes are really really really cheap. And my beloved girlfriend bought heaps of clothes from there. While I got myself, really cheap slippers, nike dunks, bermudas and 2 tops.

3) most luxurious restaurants, there are plenty of luxurious restaurants there, try Lot 10 or berjaya times square, they have lots of luxurious restaurants.

Last but not least, have a pleasant and honey-ful honeymoon :)
