I am not sure about the ribbons, but you can buy over the door hangers at home stores like bed bath and beyond, craft stores like michael's. Or you could get some of those 3M hooks that have adheisive on the back so you just stick it to your metal door (they are inexpensive, very strong and will come off fairly easily at the end of the season).

Marks and Spencer sell metal Wreath hooks which clip over the door securely for £6 in silver/gold and bronze. Ive just bought one for my wreath and they are tons cheaper than buying one from Florists.

get a magnet 25# lifting power that has a hole in it most do and attach a hook with a National course thread on the other end and two nuts (to be on each side of the hole) and attach hook to magnet and it's adjustable

Hi!
If you're in the UK, Woolworths sell them.
Also, some of the 'pound' shops sell over the door hangers for coats etc., and these work just as good!
