Some people just want to know others opinion's before waiting for their period to come (or not come) Its a roller coaster ride of emotions to women who aren't sure. I can totally understand what you're saying but sometimes the wait is truly unbearable.

I think it was dumber to answer a question like this with "It's an EPT."
EPT is a brand; HPT stands for Home Pregnancy Test. The asker was correct.
I do think it's overkill; I mean, if people would read answered questions in the "discover" section hardly anyone would ask them because most have been done before.
However, if the people who answer don't even know what HPT stands for, maybe that's why they keep asking.
I think you should be nice to the individual people, tell them about HPTs and waiting for their period, and maybe politely point them to the "discover" section so they can read other questions like theirs. Hopefully once they find those answered questions, they won't be the ones asking repeats.

how shallow some ppl are!!! i thought this was a Q + A page where ppl who want advice can post but day after day its more like lets be judgmental and have a go at anyone who posts a Q i dont like, so what if some women and YOUNG girls ask if they could be what harm are they doing????
not everyone knows what to look for all women are different
its SIMPLE if you do not like the question DONT ANSWER it.
i see young girls get had ago at,ppl who want to know about abortion even ppl on benefits its a joke.
this is my sixth pregnancy and i still have Qs i will ask them no matter how silly they seem coz they may not seem silly to me!!!!!!!

Not everyone's test shows positive. Sometimes those things don't work until the woman is several months preggy. So if their body keeps saying yes and the tests keep saying no, its very frustrating. Some of the people asking are kids. They just want someone to tell then what they want to hear cause they are scared. So skip the questions if it bugs you. But please don't fuss at the people. Some are silly questions, but some are just scared girls that don't know what to do.

I am one of those who posted a pregnancy signs and I'm 9 weeks and didn't have the time to go out and get one that night and wanted to know signs!!! but some of them are just young girls who got in bad situations and are looking for information before they have to talk to there parents so why bother waisting your points by complaining about it and gain 2 by helping them out!

I agree with the people upstairs. I think most, if not all know they need to get tested. They are looking for reassurance that they are "probably" not pregnant, or advice on what to do if they are. They might not be ASKING what they really WANTED to ask but we all do that! And if you don't like the questions, don't click on them! They have the right to ask!

The only stupid question is a question not asked.....If people are asking it might be because they need to know there are others out there besides themselfs that are going thru what they are feeling and so forth.......Yes, the people on here give answers to questions to HELP OTHERS WHO NEED HELP.....If you don't want to help others then why are you here?????
