i would say in middle school maybe some lip gloss (like smackers). but i dont think a girl should use more than that til high school, and even then, you dont want to over do it. maybe just some eye shadow and mascara. and it depends on what her parents allow her to do.

I am 13 and I just started wearing make-up. I don't wear much though, just eyeshadow, clear mascara, and lip gloss. All my friends wear all the make-up there is TO wear, and they look really fake. It can also damage you're skin. I think 13 is a good age, but don't over do it!

I started wearing it to school when I was 13. I never wore stuff that was heavy just mascara and lippy.
Also it can depend on how bad your skin is, whenever I had a bad skin day I wore some light foundatoin. You migth here, the "yada yada "enjoy your youth. But frankly, yeh it is youth. You need to experiment and find your own style!

I think the later, the better. Coz your skin get matured quickly with make-up on all the time.
To me, my mum put my 1st make-up when I was 5 or 6 to attend a wedding.
When I was a teenager, I didnt use alot of make-up since I have a lovely skin. I started to use a lot of make-up when I turned 20.
Make-up should go with skin care products. Do spend money on good products coz once your skin is damaged, you have to spend huge amount of money to recover it.

You never NEED to wear make-up! If your young it is best to start taking care of your skin. If your skin is healthy you will have a luminescent glow and not need the makeup. Then for a special evening you can put on some mascara and gloss and look stunning. If you do decide to wear makeup please check out the online tutorials on the website below and the application tips.
Please also check out the skin care and contact me if you have any questions, as all my information is on the website.
Hope this helps!!

I saw a 13 year old girl from my son's class today and she had on black eyeliner and mascara. I was so shocked.. mainly because she applied it even better than I can! I have to say I didn't like it. She looked tarty. I think I would allow my daughter to wear makeup around that age, only if it was so subtle you couldn't really see it. just to enhance her natural features.
