You don,t say how old you are because that could be significant in how you feelhowever you sound as if you may be run down or depressed.I often feel like you and i have had to look at why this is happening.I believe lack of stimulation and no fun contributes to this.It can be hard to break theses cycles especially in the winter months whe we are more inclined to hibernate. You need to find ways of stimulating your brain and i find short bursts of exercise, interacting with others and looking at your diet may help

If this was happening once in a while it would be reasonable to think that you were just tired, if it happening a lot, there could be medical reasons, for instance diabetes, or being low in iron, which makes people very tired. These can be easily checked by your doctor. Another reason that people sleep is to escape, if you are feeling very stressed out, then sleeping can be a way to escape that. Perhaps finding an activity that you enjoy, even going for a gentle walk, rather than going straight into jogging or going to the gym, can give you another way to reduce your stress. Sometimes it just takes looking at the situation from another angle and being honest about why you are feeling this way, and perhaps what you are avoiding. I hope this helps and that you feel a bit better soon.

Sounds like you are in a rutt. Try breaking it by doing somthing different that involves excersise before you go home. Also only have 8-9 hrs sleep. Make sure your go to bed and wake up at the same time to reset your body clock. That worked for me . If this dosn't work go and see your GP, it maybe that you have a virus etc.

Hope your feeling awake soon.............x

Join the club.

Ask your doctor next time about getting a sleep study.

You may have a sleep disorder that makes you want to sleep all the time.
There is sleep apnea, narcolepsy, and parasomnias. All of these things mess up your sleep stages and it may seem like you get plenty of sleep, but you may be missing a stage or two, so you are still missing an important sleep period at night.

Everyone looks forward to getting into bed when they are tired. It is a time when we have our privacy and can relax without being disturbed. It depends on how much work too you are doing. If you think you are sleeping more than normal then perhaps you can discuss it with your doctor, I am sure she/he will good some good advice.

If you are feeling down, being able to sleep and shut off is a form of escape.
Most people just go to work, come hame and sleep, that's life, but if you feel miserable then you need to make changes in your life. If you feel tired you wont feel strong enough to do that.
See your doctor, explain how you feel...Vitamin suppliments and seretonin will help. Bananas have a high level of seretonin.
When you feel more possitive you will feel more like making changes.

No, that is not normal. See your doctor to assure no physical ailments, and, then, have him recommend a good therapist. Sounds as you are suffering from depression.
If you don't have the resources or connects to do this privately, locate a social services agency in your community for help.
Do it and you will never regtret it. Good luck.

Your seratonin levels(happy hormone) are very low. Either buy a suppliment or take yourself along to the gym and workout. Other than that, try taking life easy when you can and relax.

it is quiet normal.
nothing to worry about
but don't waste life only like that.
that means out of approx. 75 years (if u have in store) u are wasting more than 35 to 40 years in sleep.
is it worth doing that?
