I tend to stick to the large department stores such as Selfridges, Frasers and John Lewis. I really detest those dark little touristy bag shops piled high with Chinese made plastic rubbish. I also hate those barrow stalls on oxford street selling nasty cheap knock offs.
Karen Millen has some nice bags. Debenhams have some nice ones in the Designers at Debenhams range. (They've got a 25% off sale on today and tomorrow). I got my last bag in the sale from Selfridges, a really nice Celine one reduced from £300 to £150. I'm really chuffed with it.

Try M & S in Oxford Street. They're free there.
