I want to get married to my sweetheart, but I suffer from a degree of mild to moderate ED(impotency), although I can perform a bit. Any suggestion please? Remember that in our culture, people don't have sex before marrige?

You should be honest about this with your girlfriend/wife-to-be. Hiding the truth will only build up performance anxiety and add to your impotency. It will make things worse if you hide the truth. I believe she will accept you despite the circumstances and she will respect you for being honest, I hope.

Use viagra if you have to but lets look at other alternatives first. Here's a little tip: in the recent 1.5 to 2 years, I have been sseriously stepping up on my exercises. I am 36yrs old and I can complete 2.4KM in 9min and 30sec. I have observed that I have become more potent in my sexual intercourse as I became fitter. Why not get into shape in the name of love and reap the benefit of better sex at the same time? I am sure she will be impressed by your committment and dedication.

How do you know you are suffering from a degree of mild to moderate ED(impotency)? You are probably feeling so guilty about having sex outside marriage that it is causing you too much anxiety. Be frank with your sweetheart about your feelings and worries. Once married you may feel able to perform properly.

An erection problem in men is defined as the inability to achieve or maintain an erection of the penis that is firm enough for a man to have sexual intercourse. While some men are not able to achieve an erection at all, others may lose their erection during intercourse. Consistent inability to achieve or maintain a firm erection sufficient for intercourse is defined as erectile dysfunction or impotence.
Most men at some point in their life suffer from erection problems however the condition is more common amongst the elderly as they are more likely to suffer from conditions that may impede the physiological processes that help a man in getting erections.
Reasons for preferring Viagra to treat erection problem
Before the launch of Viagra, the only treatment methods available for the treatment of erection problems included vacuum pumps, penile injections and surgical implants. These methods were understandably uncomfortable and therefore men chose to keep quiet over their erection problems instead of seeking uncomfortable treatments.
The launch of Viagra, however, changed the situation remarkably. Viagra Sildenafil pills gave men with erection problems freedom to have successful sexual intercourse just by popping a pill an hour before the anticipated sexual activity. Viagra was proven to be both safe and effective in numerous clinical trials and was also approved by the FDA. Men felt confident in taking Viagra and were happy with the promised results.
For five-long years Viagra Sildenafil pills enjoyed complete monopoly as an impotence treatment drug. The year 2003, saw the launch of other impotence treatment drugs called Cialis and Levitra. Though Cialis offers 36 hours effective period while Viagra remains effective for just 4 hours, many men still prefer to take Viagra. This is because they have tested the drug and have developed a bond with it. Cialis and Levitra are therefore finding it tough to break the loyalty that men have developed for Viagra.

I personally would not advise viagra for anything. You may have things on your mind or you may be stressed and not know it. Reevalute your diet. Respect the values of your culture and take this time to eat foods that will enhance your lobido. Also assess your alcohol intake if you drink. Alcohol can cause impotency. If over a period of time this does not work, ask your sweetie to throw on something super sexy, light some candles, play some lovemaking music and enjoy!

Erectile dysfunction (ED) or impotence is a sexual dysfunction characterized by the inability to develop or maintain an erection of the penis for satisfactory sexual intercourse regardless of the capability of ejaculation. There are various underlying causes, such as diabetes, many of which are medically reversible.

The causes of erectile dysfunction may be physiological or psychological. Psychological impotence can often be helped by almost anything that the patient believes in; there is a very strong placebo effect.

Due to its embarrassing nature and the shame felt by sufferers, the subject was taboo for a long time, and is the subject of many urban legends. Folk remedies have long been advocated, with some being advertised widely since the 1930s. The introduction of perhaps the first pharmacologically effective remedy for impotence, sildenafil (trade name Viagra), in the 1990s caused a wave of public attention, propelled in part by the news-worthiness of stories about it and heavy advertising.

The Latin term impotentia coeundi describes simple inability to insert the penis into the vagina. It is now mostly replaced by more precise terms.

Medical symptoms

Erectile dysfunction is characterized by the inability to maintain an erection. Normal erections during sleep and in the early morning suggest a psychogenic cause, while loss of these erections may signify underlying disease, often cardiovascular in origin. Other factors leading to erectile dysfunction are diabetes mellitus (causing neuropathy) or hypogonadism (decreased testosterone levels due to disease affecting the testicles or the pituitary gland).

Medical diagnosis

There are no formal tests to diagnose erectile dysfunction. Some blood tests are generally done to exclude underlying disease, such as diabetes, hypogonadism and prolactinoma. Impotence is also related to generally poor physical health, poor dietary habits, obesity, and most specifically cardiovascular disease such as coronary artery disease and peripheral vascular disease.

A useful and simple way to distinguish between physiological and psychological impotence is to determine whether the patient ever has an erection. If never, the problem is likely to be physiological; if sometimes (however rarely), it is more likely to be psychological. The current diagnostic and statistical manual of mental diseases (DSM-IV) has included a listing for impotence.

A wide variety of options exist for treating erectile dysfunction. They include everything from medications and simple mechanical devices to surgery and psychological counseling. The cause and severity of your condition are important factors in determining the best treatment or combination of treatments for you. You and your doctor may also want to consider how much money you're willing to spend and the personal preferences of you and your partner. If erectile dysfunction is the result of a medical condition, the cost of treatment may be covered by insurance.

Uncontroversial treatments

PDE5 Inhibitors
The prescription PDE5 inhibitors sildenafil (Viagra®), vardenafil (Levitra®) and tadalafil (Cialis®) are prescription drugs which are taken orally. They work by blocking the action of PDE5, which causes cGMP to degrade. cGMP causes the smooth muscle of the arteries in the penis to relax, allowing the corpus cavernosum to fill with blood.

* Sildenafil (Viagra)
* Tadalafil (Cialis)
* Vardenafil (Levitra)

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved Viagra in 1998, and it became the first oral medication for erectile dysfunction on the market. Since then, doctors have written millions of prescriptions for the blue, diamond-shaped tablets. But Viagra is no longer the only pill that treats this condition. Levitra and Cialis are two other options.

Viagra, Levitra and Cialis work in much the same way. Chemically known as phosphodiesterase inhibitors, these drugs enhance the effects of nitric oxide, a chemical messenger that relaxes smooth muscles in the penis. This increases the amount of blood and allows a natural sequence to occur — an erection in response to sexual stimulation. These medications don't automatically produce an erection. Instead they allow an erection to occur after physical and psychological stimulation. Many men experience improvement in erectile function after taking these medications regardless of the cause of their impotence.

These medications share many similarities, but they have differences as well. They vary in dosage, duration of effectiveness and possible side effects. Other distinctions — for example, which drug is best for certain types of men — aren't yet known. No study has directly compared these three medications.

Yes, but make sure you tell your bride-to-be beforehand. It is her choice to accept or pass. It is absolutely necessary that you start your marriage life on a note of honesty, not deceit.

Your concepts are: you are able to tell her each and every thing earlier marriage and marry if she is prepared. or you are able to marry anyone yet do no longer blame them in the event that they get into greater desirable marital affairs. considering you cheated first. attempt to deal which incorporate your ED.
