I loved the show until this season started. It seems we're rehashing plots and being a little spacey. Tonights episode totally lost me it was so silly. Did they get new writers or just run out of controversial material after the Carver left?

I agree, it's not as good as it used to be. I used to be so anxious to wait from week to week for each episode. But now it's becoming kind of predictable or maybe I'm starting to think Nip/Tuckish, but I really not caring about this season for some reason. I havent seen the latest episode yet (I tivo'd it and not really anxious to see it based on the preview for it last week) I just hope that the show isn't jumping the shark. One of my favorites shows but maybe this is just a slump season.

I think that the show tonight was stupid because of the whole Connor being grown up and the whole thing with annie was highly unbelievable. In my opinion they must have been bored out of thier minds because this weeks episode ranked up there with the whole Kimber marrying Matt episode. I think the show's ratings went down on that episode and if the show does not get it together I have a feeling it wont last too long. I am extremely addicted to Nip/Tuck and yet this season I sit and wonder please why are they butchering a perfectly good drama?

In reality tonight's show was the result of bad timing. The Actress that plays Julia is related to the Redgraves, one of who died during the filming of this season, so they needed to figure out a way to write her out of a couple of weeks scripts. so the took notice of the hurricane season and all the turmoil it was causing on the evening news, tried a little "All That Jazz" and created a fantasy for Shawn about what he could miss out on if thing are not rebuilt between him and Julia. this sets the series up to focuse on Matt and Kimber and on the kidney bandits. Don't be surpised to see Escobar back if he learns that the Yakuza and James are stealing his business. Afterall, he set Shawn free and he will find it insulting to have his word challenged, especially since he did not okay anything. Remeber one of the last things Escobar had the boys do before he went into prison was remove a mule's kidney so he could sell it. This is his territory.

Sucks doesn't it? I don't know what the writers are going through, but whatever it is they need to correct it and get back to the good story lines. They opened up some stuff, now they just need to build on it. For instance, The shrink who is obsessed with Christian. I see a fatal attraction thing jumping off. And what about the return of the drug dealer? I'm going to miss him messing with Sean's imagination but they could do something else around him being back. And of course the story we all know is coming anyway - Matt exits the closet!! Please they've been leading up to him being gay for quite sometime. They need to just go ahead and deal with it.He's in denial and that's why he's attracted to Kimber.

Maybe I need to apply for a writers job with that show?
