3000 miles or 3 months, whichever comes first! Usually the place that changes your oil will give you a sticker to let you know when to come back in.

for automobiles standard is every three to five thousand miles. But their are oils out there that allow you to go up to 15,000. It all depends on the type of oil you use. For longer periods between changes the (15,000 change) the oil can be pretty expensive. I'd recommend just regular 10-40 Mobil 1 or what brand u prefer. This is the 3-5 thousand mile change oil.

It depends on your driving style, the weather, and the distance, but if you wanna know whether the oil needs to be changed or not you pull out the oil indicator from the engine and feel the oil with your fingers ,it should be sticky, if not ,you must change it as fast as you can,and the oil on the hot weather expires fast and lives longer on cold days,if you are driving in a sport way you must check oil weekly, and at last as the usual way 3000 miles or 3 months ,I hope my answer will be useful for you.

If you use regular name brand oil, then every 3000 miles is my preference. Royal Purple synthetic allows you to go 10,000 miles with an oil fillter change in between (5000 miles). It costs a lot more per quart, but when you break it down to cost per mile it ends being the same or less. You will also gain a little MPG. Less oil changes, Less hassle. I also recommend Napa Gold oil filters. Check out carclinicnetwork.com - great auto maintenance tips. Have Fun with it!

Every three thousand miles, no more than 3500 miles if you are busy. Oil viscocity breakdown is rated at around 3800 miles for most oils (viscosity protects your engine and only breaks down from friction and extreme heat) and don't believe the 3 month BS because that is just a Mnemonic created by the oil companies to sell more oil.

Depends if you're using standard oil, synthetic blend or a full synthetic oil. There's a product out there that allows you to use the same oil for over 7,000 miles (Amsoil). Standard oil the 3 month/3,000 mile procedure works but the oil is usually good for a little longer than that. Synth Blend is good for that 5 month/5,000 mile range and full synth your good for 7,000+ no matter the time period. Synthetic oils don't break down like standard petroleum products.

It depends on how hard you drive your car and what oil you use. Generaly, if you use standard oil and drive not too much or too hard; then every 5000 miles. If you drive harder or over long distatances then every 3000 miles. If you use a fully synthetic then every 5000 miles for light driving and every 7000 for heavy/long distance. I always put in that slick 50 stuff every 20,000 miles.

As often as you would like as long as you don't go over 3000 miles inbetween. Don't use those quick oil change places. They tend to leave things undone at times and I don't think you would be happy.

standard answer is 3k or 3months. but thats STUPID, that is based off of average city driving and the cheapest oil money can buy. if you want your car to last 300k miles, yeah, change it every 3k miles and use some name brand or better yet, synthetic oil. if you drive like a little old lady, and put 3k miles on per year, i would change it every 6 months...IT REALLY DEPENDS ON DRIVING STYLE. if you have a deisel, change it every 3k. reguardless.
