At 5-4, they are now only one game behind NE. The problem is, both teams have relatively easy schedules left. Both have to play Chicago, and from there on they both play some decent games a long with a couple powder puffs.

Do the Jets have a better shot at winning the division or taking a wild card?

Jets remaining schedule:
11 Sun, Nov 19 Chicago 1:00 PM
12 Sun, Nov 26 Houston 1:00 PM
13 Sun, Dec 3 at Green Bay 1:00 PM
14 Sun, Dec 10 Buffalo 1:00 PM
15 Sun, Dec 17 at Minnesota 1:00 PM
16 Mon, Dec 25 at Miami 8:30 PM
17 Sun, Dec 31 Oakland 1:00 PM

Patriots remaining schedule:
11 Sun, Nov 19 at Green Bay 1:00 PM
12 Sun, Nov 26 Chicago 4:15 PM
13 Sun, Dec 3 Detroit 1:00 PM
14 Sun, Dec 10 at Miami 1:00 PM
15 Sun, Dec 17 Houston 1:00 PM
16 Sun, Dec 24 at Jacksonville 1:00 PM
17 Sun, Dec 31 at Tennessee 1:00 PM

I think the Jets have a good shot at the playoffs.

If they keep playing at the rate they're playing at now.

They could take the divison, all depends on how New England plays really

But yes, The Jets have a good shot at Wild Card hopes

The Jets have a legit shot at claiming the second wild card spot for the AFC. I don't think they will beat out NE for the division title. As for the Wildcard race, either Denver or San Diego is going to take the first wildcard. It's going to be between the Jets and the Chiefs for the second, between those two, the Chiefs are the better team, but they are stuck in the toughest division in football with both the Chargers and the Broncos, I don't think they can keep pace. Having said that, the Jets will have to face the top seed (probably going to be Indy), and they will be beaten to a pulp in the first round.

I don't think the Jets will make the playoffs. As a Giant fan, I hate having them in our stadium. They knocked us out of the playoffs in '88 with THEIR fans, in a Jet home game in GIANTS STADIUM cheering as the Giants were being knocked out. If the Jets are going to continue to play in GIANTS stadium, they should refer to it as GIANTS STADIUM, not "The Meadowlands". It clearly says GIANTS STADIUM on the front. That stadium was built for Big Blue, The G-Men, and not for the Jets and their puke green colors, the drunk, smelly fans, and their tired "J-E-T-S" chant.

It used to have GIANTS in blue and red in the end zones, now we can no longer have it as the Jets play games there. I hope the Jets continue their long-standing tradition of mediocrity and never make the playoffs, I hate them and want them gone it's been 23 years now, they are like an unwanted house-guest that won't leave.

Oh, BTW, Namath is THE most overrated player in NFL history, he's in the Hall only because of his big mouth. He wasn't half the player Simms was.

I think the Jets will have a hard time making the playoffs. The only decent team the Jets have beaten is the Patriots on a sloppy track.
