I'd think she had gone through a lot of very tough emotional times and that I was lucky to know someone who I liked, that could be nice in spite of all she had gone through..
There isn't one of us who don't have something that we woudn't want everyone else to know.. but if we are the sort to be likeable, as is your friend, and I assume as are you, then we are doing very ok.

When I was a little girl I used to pull my hair out. My mother didn't understand and she used to get mad because it was in the back of my head and there were bald spots. I got yelled at but she didn't understand.
I don't know why I did this. I know that it seemed to make my scalp feel good.
I think I stopped when I was in my early 30's. Sometimes I'll pull a little but I have pretty much confined it to the very back where I don't think anyone will see.
I actually didn't realize what I had until the web came out and got advance to where you can look up things to easy.

A girl in my high school had that problem.. she was a bit strange, but it's a real condition and as long as she is normal and functioning and you liked her I don't see the issue- Love isn't about looks... Good Luck with your decision I'm sure it will be the best whatever you decide

Everyone has one thing or another "wrong" with them. I would just let it go and not pay attention to it. If it bothers you that much then maybe u should not be friends with her. Appearances should not be the most important part. If it does not bother her then it should not bother u or anyone else, depending on the situation of course.

WOW ! well I don know wether u mean girl-girl or boy-girl but reguardless they should like you for you ... however if they know of the condition they will try to be there for your condition, and may be scarred to get attached because they dont know the outcome of the "girl crushes" health. But in the future things will pickup from there ..

why would it matter..? isnt it as long as u like her that matters..?
i might find it weird at the start.. but id guess if its her personality
is like the best.. then i would forget about her condition and
recognise it as a habit instead..
its like my friends... they got use to my allergic conditions.. they
used to ask alot but after a while they kinda know.. and dont care
and regard it as a habit.. and ongoing thing..

I would ask about it and hope she would tell me. Most of the time they prefere to be asked about it than to assume it would be something else.
