22 is about the time when your childhood ends and your life as an adult should begin. Although you should think of yourself as an adult by now, 22 is definitely YOUNG! It is a crucial time in life. The choices you make now will likely set the path for the rest of your life. It is the time to identify your life goals and begin to pursue them. Don't make the mistake of trying to hold on to your youth by avoiding adult responsibilities. You'll get older no matter what you do, and if you avoid growing up, you'll find yourself incapable of handling life as an adult. But growing up has its own rewards. The way to happiness is not to cling to your youth, but rather to create a meaningful and productive life for yourself as an adult.

it depends of your own expectancies, whatever you wanna do its Ok if you are happy with it
theoricaly if you want, 22 means a young adult till 28 and then maybe you would be considered an adult
in some countries people bcame responsible for the society at 21 or 20's so it dont have to be how old are you rather than what are your goals

Integrity, Virtue, moral principals, and responsible, not only from 22 year olds, but from everyone, with the degree, relative to age.
Never sell your Integrity, compromise your moral values, or fail to be responsible for the choices that you make, or what you do.
Never promise what is beyond you, lest your promise becomes a lie and with that, the loss of respect.
Never go into the Pig Pen lest the Pigs soil your virtue and muddy up your moral.
Do not do as the crowd do or follow it, you are not a sheep that has to be led. Too, the crowed only want you to do what they want you to do, they have no interest in you other than to control!
Your real beauty is what comes out of you and is reflected in what you say or do! Nothing you put on, hang on, paint on or cover with, will make you beautiful!
The male that cares about you, cares about your mother and father, even though he does not know them. And he will never forget the manners that your grandmother taught you, if he cares about you!

Well u r in the best years of your life. So the society wants u to be polite and to be useful to them.
This is the age when u r the strongest and u have to put efforts to make this world even more beautifull.
Dont lead a bad life and make others life beautifull. Thats waht society needs from u.
Cheers,

Forget society. American society wants you to do one of three things: 1)go out and party constantly, get laid and get drunk, maybe go to school
2)go to school and start a career
3)be a baby factory
Screw all that. Do what you want, without yielding to expectations. What do you feel like doing in the long run? Now's the time to get a start on it!

the society sorrounds you dont expect anything to any age bracket. its the person expecting of what the society will do for them. the society is part of community, if you are in a community, try to do something worthy, contribute some of your knowledge to build up a good community, thats the best to do.

what i wish to be 22 again. you have the world and some wonderful experiences ahead of you if you choose. what do you expect of yourself? where do you want to be in 5 years? i would concentrate on that instead of what society
expects from you
