* Start with the identity
- 20 = - 20

* Express both sides in slightly different, yet equivalent ways
25 - 45 = 16 - 36

* Factor both sides
5^2 - 5 \times 9 = 4^2 - 4 \times 9

* Add the same thing to both sides
5^2 - 5 \times 9 + \frac{81}{4} = 4^2 - 4 \times 9 + \frac{81}{4}

* Now factor both sides again
\left(5 - \frac{9}{2}\right)^2 = \left(4 - \frac{9}{2}\right)^2

* Take the square root of both sides
5 - \frac{9}{2} = 4 - \frac{9}{2}

* Cancel the common term
5 = 4

*Proof 2+2=5

Answer #1: Sure, just give me Fortran.

Answer #2: No, because 2+2 = 3; that is, it follows the pattern: 1+1=2, 2+2=3, 3+3=4, 4+4=5, etc.

Answer #3: Sure -- I'll give you two $2 bills in exchange for your $5 bill.

yes of corse,2+2=5 can be proved.let the father be equal to 1 and mother be equal to 1 but they togetther can give a baby.so here 2 has been converted into 3.and the parents of either of the parents together makes2.so 2+2=5.if there are more family members we can form new new equations like 3+3=7.
