Towards the end of urinating I find myself pushing harder to get the rest of the urine out. Some urine gets stuck inside which sometimes lingers in the penis area or deeper. What is going on? Also, I felt some urine in the head area of my penis..I decided to squeeze my penis head and it stung alittle(it only happened 1 time)..I am 25 yrs old

Could be; (1) a urinary tract infection; (2) anxiety; and (3) enlarged prostate.

Relax when you urinate. Give yourself time to get out as much urine as possible.

A quick way to alleviate an infection down there: Drink cranberry juice -- the good kind made out of 100% juice. There is an acid in there that makes your urine even more acid and bacteria holding onto the walls of the urethra let loose when they encounter increased acidity. Also drink plenty of water.

If the problem persists much longer, I suggest you visit your family physician and perhaps a urologist.

Good luck. Rest assured, you are not the first or last guy to experience this problem. You'll find a solution.

Doctors have seen and heard everything about the human body.
So don't be bashful about getting help.
By all means go now to your primary care physician. If he doesn't help, then ask him to refer you to a urologist. It is your body so take charge.

1. It could be a stricture of the urethral that is gradually closing. Eventually you may not be able to pee at all.
2. It could be an enlarged prostate with benign swelling squeezing the urethra closed. It is common in men of your age. Do you masturbate to get rid of the semen in your prostate? An enlarged prostate will also squeeze the urethra closed.
3. Are you uncircumcised with a very tight foreskin?
4. Does this happen when you relax to pee at home? Or does it happen when you are in a public restroom when others are standing near you at the urinal? In that case you have the very common problem known as pee shy, shy bladder, bashful bladder, stage fright. Urologists help with any physical problems
and psychotherapists who do cognitive therapy will also help.

P. S. Don't try to force your urine out. Relaxation is the way to go. Then the muscles will relax and open up the bladder and you will urinate O.K.

Two possibilities. Prostate or Psychological problem.

First consult a Urologist and rule out the physiological causes. You have to consult a psychiatrist if there are no medical conditions.
