I am a junior at BSU currently majoring in Mass Comm/Journalism, and minoring in Sociology. I've been thinking about changing it to my major, and I wondered what career options are available for people with soc degrees (besides teaching).

It depends what side of Sociology you want to go into, could go into health side, crime side, or straight social side.
I was going to do Sociology at uni and there arent that many jobs in all honesty and for most jobs you will prob need to retrain after!
But if you think you'll enjoy it for the years your at uni thats the most important thing

To progress in any career today you need more than just one degree. Keep on track with what you have, THEN receive your Masters in a more specific field. One that relates to what you already have. This is something your counselor wont tell you!!
