heraclitus believed that all is in a constant state of flux or change. he even said that a person cannot step into the same river twice, because the river is always changing. however, to be consistent, the same person cant even step in the same river twice, because people are constantly changing too....good luck.

i dunno, but i like him/her. fits in well with the fact that our chemical composition is changing and therefore our being is... since conciousness is an emergant property of the matter that constituits the brain.
