I am white first off but i never felt any hate or disrespect for any culture or race.
But i CANT stand uncontrolled immigration, i think it is a terrible thing in the USA, and i do mean this to about mexicans mostly but really anyone too
There are many reasons why i think its bad, i will list a couple so you know a little of how i view it
Less than 2% of illegal aliens are picking our crops, but 29% are on welfare
The cost of immigration to the American taxpayer in 1997 was, (after subtracting taxes immigrants pay), a NET $70 BILLION/ year, [Professor Donald Huddle, Rice University ].
40% of all workers in L.A. County (L.A.County has 10.2million people) are working for cash and not paying taxes. This was because they are predominantly illegal immigrants, working without a green card.
these facts can be found anywhere, in fact i believe the LA times had a huge article on it a bit ago
My best friend is half bolivian half mexican, both his parents came to the US legally

I really think we should have a full inforcement of border control, it technically is a felony in the US, and we should treat as such
Does this make me a racist ?

Someone brought up that we too are illegal immigrants cause indians were here first.
That is a good point. But a lot of being in a world is hostile take over which is pretty much what we did. So as matter as fact as it may sound this is our country, even if we did take it years ago.
SO till we lose control our laws should be followed, if mexico wanted to invade us and take over and if they won, then we would have to follow thier laws.
Just a thought

This coming from a Mexican?
You are right. As bad as every other Mexicans hate to admit, US has the right to secure their borders for the safety of their citizens
It is true that lack of education adds to poverty and social problems. No, you are not racist, you are just a concerned citizen voicing your thoughts, like many others that have decided to do so.
I do hope that this problem can be resolved without any violence by those extremist groups, I mean, the real racists, I hope instead that people with good feelings and intelligent come up with a solution that favors both sides.
God Bless you all.

First of everyone reply the mans query as an alternative of criticising the foundation at which he has provided it. Okay we could begin. The majority of the planet has misconceptions at the time period Racism. Racism is outlined as workout that one race is awesome to one more. We all are side of 1 Human Race, so the individual of claiming its Racist is faulty. Now we could begin with the reply. The motive that being towards out of control mass immigration or islam is deemed as racist is because of semi-political penalties through the manufactured from War, misconceived Human rights, state subsidized abasement, and political corrections to manage vote casting developments. It relatively additionally depends upon the nation you're in, many international locations have special resources to why such movements are viewed racist. An Example will also be the UK. UKS enrolment within the EU, has now been prescribing to Immigration coverage being dictated through Brussels. The British and different EU subscribed international locations now not have the proper to manipulate their borders. Although political retaliation is consistently lively. To look after towards the competition the EU has issued a sequence of political propaganda. It could also be the amnesty being proven to illegals. As the populace of the Illegal Immigrants develop, public opinion for such factions may even develop. The motive morons feel its ok to outline Muslims to have Xenophobia is that, Islam in its nature is viewed a extra political order then a devout order. The Quran has been specific. Muslims are sovereign through beginning. Islam additionally advocates that guy is the vicegerent, the agent or the consultant of Allah swt on this planet. Islam teaches muslims to run a central authority, to make laws and choices through the system of Shura. Shura way "to take choices through session and participation" (three:159, forty two:38). This is an primary side of the Islamic political method. There isn't any scope for despotism in Islam. The Qur’an and the Sunnah would be the foundation of laws in Islam. Can you spot now. Many won't comprehend it however the most important motive to why it's viewed racist to be non-muslim. to muslims no less than is for the reason that there notion teaches them that the muslim state is Sovereign, in nature. But in case your no longer muslim you will have to no longer fear, nor don't forget it to be racist. I can lengthen this and pass into extra element, if you happen to like.

I don't think this makes you a racist. You are a realist. Sometimes you just can't deny the facts of illegal immigration. I live in Canada and we have our issues with illegal immigration as well. It makes me mad some of the people that come in here and ruin things for the rest of us - and they're coming in illegally. I, however don't have a problem with other races in general (I'm white) I get along with all races. But the illegal immigration thing is just taxing to the system, no matter where they come from.

I don't see anything racist about wanting the laws to be enforced. Illegal immigration is a problem and there is no reason why you should accept it. If people want to immigrate, they should do it the legal way.
Maybe the legal way needs to be reconsidered, maybe it needs some changes. If it's so tough that people don't seem to have any chance, then I'm not surprised they resort to illegal immigration in desperation, but something needs to be done about this.
You don't sound like a racist.

No but I question some of the statistic you mention.
To get welfare you need a SSN. If they are here illegally and using a SSN to get welfare then they are using a stolen SSN or one that was improperly issued.
Many illegal aliens do use stolen SSN's to work and when this happens they almost always end up paying taxes under the stolen SSN. If they are being paid under the table then they are not the problem, the employers are.
You cannot blame people for wanting better lives. Immigration rules in the U.S. are strict and not all of these people have the opportunity to "get in line". They do, however, make up a vital part of the American economy. It'd be in the best interest of everyone for the government to form a work program for these people.

Listen to all the answerers they all have good points even though some differ. But I understand your point and that you love your country that much that you're trying to "tighten" the laws if you could and you're trying to protect your country.
But I also understand why refugees come to your country. They are looking for better life were they won't feel so threatened about whether they will have enough to eat tomorrow or not, whether they will live tomorrow or not. It's bad that your country is getting invaded but think about humanity. These people immigrate because they want a future not only for themselves but most importantly for their children.

No, but you are pursuing the wrong means.
Document it and go to the IRS and put the capitalists doing it out of business. Hurt them where it hurts the most, in Tax Court.
We need some law changes. For example NO ONE should be able to claim "indepdendent subcontractor" status unless they are a coporation or a LICENSED business paying business taxes.
To qualify for CITIZENSHIP one should have to show 5 years of 1040 forms in which you either filed and paid taxes or were claimed as a dependent by somone who paid taxes.
All 18 year old males MUST register with the Selective Service agency as is required of all other males.
See, we are not applying the laws nor enforcing them.
There is a little known rule of law, although it takes money and legal knowledge to impliment, called a WRIT OF MANDAMUS, which FORCES government to FOLLOW and APPLY the laws.
What you need to do is organize (go tax exempt ORG) get lawyers on staff and private invesgitators and film camera crews and then go out and do Upton Sinclair kinds of stuff. Expose companies, government and put them on TV, like 60 minutes does!
File Writs, make Government DO their JOBS.
You'll make this place a not so nice place for people who don't want to follow the rules to want to be in!

I don't think so. If you had an issue with Mexicans in general you would be. Mind your thoughts though... If you are looking at a hispanic person and automatically wondering if the person is legal, you are on the slope to prejudice.
Illegal immigration is bad for all of us. People wait YEARS to get a visa to come to this country... I see no reason why a person who cheats that and bypasses the system should have any priviledges.

We've got Illegals in Australia too. They are ruining our Australian way of life. They have escaped from a bad place & the first thing they want to do is demand that Australia change to be like the place they escaped from. So I really don't see the point of them coming other then they were told to come here by the old Ayatolla Klemani because Australia is a religious desert & easy to force to convert.
If I had my way they would all be sunk at sea before they got here.

It makes perfect sense to say that someone should want controlled immigration, and that in no way makes you a racist. However, if you were to say I hate mexicans we need to keep them out of the U.S. then you'd be racist. But you make perfect sense and its a completly logical arguement to make. And the most amazing thing is the amount of Mexican pride the illegals hold, if they love thier country so much then why don't they simply go back.
