In light of the talks of the niners moving to Santa Clara and the bill being pushed through to prevent them from using San Francisco in their name, I was wondering what are the other teams that have seen this similar situation. Ny Jets and Giants both play in New Jersey, Cowboys play in Fort Worth, and the the Redskins play in Landover Maryland. So what other team's stadiums are in cities other then what city is present in their name?

Bills play in Ralph Wilson Stadium in Orchard Park
Dolphins play in Dolphins Stadium in Miami Gardens
Patriots play at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro
Jets and Giants play at Giants Stadium in E. Rutherford, NJ
Cowboys play at Texas Stadium in IRVING, not Ft. Worth
Redskins play at FredEx (oops, I mean FedEx) Field in Landover, MD
Cardinals play at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, AZ

The Cards may not play on a college campus BUT that is the name of their stadium. They sold the naming rights. Anyway since they are the ARIZONA Cardinals and play in ARIZONA I guess they do technically play in the "city" where their name is. Just as the New England Patriots still technically do. They changed the name from Boston when they moved from that town.

Bull C r ap with San Francisco Politicians...the niners will alwayz be the Niners wherever they play...As u say...Jets and Giants play at Jersey but still their fans stay faithful...Redskinz play at Maryland, nonetheless their fans are true...the same will be with Niners...ForEver 49ers!!!
