The problem is that I`ve been absent for a very loooong time now, and even though I realize how awful this is for me, I still can`t make myself go to school. I often have this moments, when I think that the next day I`m going to school for sure, but the next thing you know, is that on my way to school I just go in any direction, but the school one. Moreover, I`ve been even planning ahead of the day, or even a week, not to go to school!!! I know how bad this is for me, and I realize that this is just going to ruin everything I dream about. However, one thought of going to school makes me want to cry, yes, literally! Whenever I`m thinking of the school and of all "the society" in it, I just want to shoot myself! I don`t know what should I do, how I should deal with it. In addition to that, my parents totally don`t know about all this, so I feel like a crap, but can`t help myself! I just think that I really need a professional help!

It sounds like you have a lot of problems with school, one of them being that you do not feel you have any friends there and that you do not belong to any of the "groups" or fit in anywhere.
it is true that the longer you put it off, the worse it will get. And your parents not knowing about it just makes it all the worse. (but rest assured, some day they will find out and you might want to be the one to tell them and not have it happen when the report card comes)!

Is there any chance you could go to an alternate school? I would talk to a guidance counselor and find out if there are alternate school settings available to you such as charter schools, online schools or even home schooling.
sometimes the school environment with the big classes and its social structure is not right for everyone. Or you may find an "alternate " school where people with similar interests go that you would enjoy better. If you are in high school, you could always go for your GED if you do not finish. All will not be lost if you "mess this up".
I think counseling would help. You need to find out why you feel this way and how you contribute to it. Yes, high school really sucks sometimes, just because of the people who go there, but you will come out a stronger person if you learn to deal with "the society" .
I was very unhappy in high school, but i got through it because I had to. Alternate schooling was not available to me at the time, nor could I admit to my parents how miserable I was. I learned to hide it and focus on what I could do once I was out of school. I even managed to make some friends and develop some interests (but it wasn't easy) and do reasonably well in classes. Still, for all the money in the world I would never go through it again! I think alternate schools, (if they are available) are worth considering, only because you will have less stress, but if they are not, you will have to cope with the options you do have.

I agree with the responder above, the counselor at your school would be a great place to start.

When I get stuck in really impossible situations like that, I do this:

1. Get help (that school counselor, or someone else you can trust)

2. Stop what I'm trying to do, take a breather, and start over from the beginning. I don't know if you have the luxury of doing this where you go to school. I was thinking of my college days, when I got into big trouble one semester. I just stopped everything, took the rest of the semester off, and started all over again next semester. I graduated a semester late, but so what? It was worth it.

Well, I don't know about that second option for you, but the first one is a must! Don't try to go through this alone. You don't have to do that at all; get to that counselor and at least start to talk to someone about it all.

Good luck!

Hell yes get some professional help. Start with your parents if they are loving problem solvers that aren't child abusers. Talk with you school counselor to work it out. Ask you pediatrician for help; you can tell the receptionist that you need to talk with the doctor and that you don't want to give your name because you don't want your parents to be notified of a problem. Call the school and ask to speak with the school psychiatrist/psychologist.

Don't give up. Just get back up and make up for lost time; slow and steady. You will look back with regret if you don't find a way to get back into the mainstream. Good luck.

You just need the correct motivation. Persistence can go a long way. Keep trying. You only fail when you give up.
