For example: toothpicks, paper cups, etc. I need to make a sculpture, so it can't perish. Any ideas?

They don't perish, do they?

It could work.

You can get toothpicks and paper cups at the 99 cent store. You should go there and just look around for ideas.

A bag of flour, some water, and newspaper? Paper mache a pinata. sorry, repeat idea...

ok, get some cardboard, cut it, make a birdhouse with the scissors and glue you bought, and get some little sticks in the wood and side the house with them. You can also glue some moss and other stuff on it to look natural and rustic. Have fun!

Well..paper machete is pretty cheap...but what about raiding recyling bins and making a sculpture out of that??? If the theme isn't fixed yet you could make a wonderful commentary.

Plaster of Paris, is very cheap. And when still soft can be shaped into any desired form, more or less delicately. And then in short time it hardens, and becomes permanent.

a book of matches is FREE just ask at stores, they give them away, usually 1 or 2 at a time, so it might take a while, but if you have time, go for it.
