I think it is way to early for Christmas songs!!! I love the holidays, but your right, from Thanksgiving morning on, they start playing them. By the time Christmas is over with I hate Christmas songs!!! I love to hear them on Christmas Eve & Christmas day, I think that is enough!

Its up to the individual person to decide when it's time to start listening to Christmas music. I, myself, cannot wait for the stations that start playing it the day after Thanksgiving 24/7. Typically, that's when the radio stations switch to Christmas music. However, there are also a lot of stations that play just a few songs up until the week before. Everyone gets into the holiday mood at different times. Let those of us who really enjoy the season start listening to it now while those who aren't ready listen to those stations who don't choose to play Christmas music all the time.

I wouldn't mind listening to Christmas songs in small doses up until a few days before Christmas cause the songs get less tiring that way, I work in retail and they play the same Christmas songs over and over from Thanksgiving to the day after Christmas.

I dont think its to early as long as its just a few Christmas songs, but not every song should be a Christmas song. I enjoy the week before Christmas when all the music is played like non stop just because I'm totally in the mood for Christmas by then.

Where I'm from, they don't start playing Christmas music till Thanksgiving. Then the closer it gets to the holiday, the more they play.
To me, it's never too early. I can listen to Christmas music and never get tired of it even though there are some songs I can't stand. But to each their own.

I think christmas music should start being played on Dec. 1. I don't think a lot of radio stations should have xmas music 24-7, but one or two stations would be fine...

It's not even Thanksgiving and I'm already sick of the Christmas music being played on the radio. So I turn it off.

I love christmas time..but yeah I do think they are played too early. And there were already christmas commercials on TV the day after Halloween. I think they could play em all of December, the whole month is one of my favorites just because of the general mood of the public.

The radio can play "Frosty the Snowman" in June. I don't care. I love Christmas songs.
It's not Christmas until you hear "Leroy the Redneck Reindeer" and "Redneck twelve Days of Christmas". And let us not forget the famous Alvin and the Chipmunks' "Christmas Don't be Late!"
