I read an interview on the internet about two weeks ago with Thomas Dolby. He's recording again, and given the innovations in communications technology over the last few years, he's very excited about what it means for his music. He also recently settled (out of court) with Britney Spears' soon to be ex-husband, Kevin Federline, for sampling one of Dolby's old tunes on his album without permission.

Jeeze I forgot I had that album, Thomas Dolby was brilliant and I just loved that album. Shes an Airhead was my favourite track for years. Shame he no longer releases new material but I will be watching the answers to this question to find out more. Great question!!!!

He's an engineer now and his company created the polyphonic ringtone software used in cell phones
