It can help in loosing weight it can be used as an appetite surpressant but coffee can do the same thing I don't think taking up smoking is a good way to loose weight though maybe you should try drinking water between meals and eat fruit instead of lollies and sweets don't snack and do plenty of walking you'll loose weight in no time and feel way better and have better lungs for it

I guess it does. Many of my friends smoke and they've lost a great deal of weight. However, there's the tradeoff that the nicotine contents get into and damage your internal organs. Your lungs, for example, may get all rotten. What's more, smoking, like any other vice, is easy to get hooked into and hard to quit.

I won't tell you not to smoke, because I myself do. It's because I can control myself from being hooked.

If you really wanna lose weight, the best way is by putting in the right nutrition, doing exercise, and avoiding vice.

Only if you replace eating snacks with smoking cigarettes. Snacking is a bad habit, but smoking is even worse. Try to drink a big glass of water instead of snacking whenever you feel like it.
Don't start smoking, it'll be a pain to kick off the habit.

Not specifically. For most people they just suppress your appetite, but sometimes it gives you a feeling of needing to eat. I didn't lose any weight when I smoked. I quit less than a week ago and I've already lost weight.

Not really, but it does curve your appetite somewhat. Even though in the years that I have smoked I have gained over 130 lbs so i would say no it does not help you lose weight.

yes, it's suposed to surpress appetite. is easier to eat less if u can spark up when ur craving a snack or something.
everything these days causes cancer, causes some disease or kills you. enjoy life. there are NO ACURATE studies that passive smoking is even damaging to long term health. biased studies conducted by anti-smoking groups. a true study can not be unbiased if the results/conclussion are written before the study.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!

Sort of. Some use smoking to curb their appetite. But I wouldn't suggest it.
