As far as I know there is a LINUX Internet wizard supplied with Red Hat, look on the internet it will tell you what the process is called.

hi

if u use redhat 7 or above jus follow these steps.

1. go to terminal window in gui.

2. type the command : whatis adsl and press enter

3.it will show u the list of commands with options.

4.u'll have to use adsl-setup command for setting up new.

it will ask u some questions get answers from ISP and u r connected after restarting the services.

If you have the Internet connection through a LAN card, just start your Linux operating system. When it is checking hard wares on your system, it will automatically detect it and ask you three IP address to enter Public IP, Private IP and DNS IP. Enter them and you are connected. If you are connected through USB, then the connection provided by most ISP is not Linux compatible.
