Sometimes people arent as lucky to be "as smart as" you want everyone to think you were.
sometimes young children might be embarrassed, might not have anyone they trust to answer those questions, or even not have anyone around. Their questions appear to be petty to you, but to me they show what might be late bloomers when it comes to dating, appearance, reigigion or whatever.
some questions here come from childish people who just like to spark controversy, or release their racial impulses and condescention for others, but there are some ligitimate youngsters, and adults whos questions are real to them.
Since when is it dumb to ask questions.
It only becomes dumb when someone else makes them feel dumb for asking.
If you dont like a question, dont answer it. Let someone else come along willing to understand that theres a person behind the question.
Be it for childish antics or because they are truly confused.
But Id hate to contribute to further ridiculing or depriving an already baffled person from something they cant get an answer for and are truly searching for one.

Back when I was a teen, we did not have sites like this. I know it is vague and all, but I also do think that it is helpful and informative to them. Teens can learn from their elders in a lot of areas, since we've been there and done that.
My parents never talked with me on many issues in life. It would have been nice if I could have had a place to go for answers. Also sometimes things are imbarrasing and this is a place where people feel safe about asking anything.
I love this site. I am glad that I can learn, and help others and hey have fun with the entertainment with Y-Answers.

well kids are not getting dumber, they are getting more spoiled. we cant blame kids and teens for lack of knoledge. it is offered to them in school and stuff. if they dont wanna take advantage of it then whos fault is it? i blame the parents for pretty much everything. they are spoiling kids to the point were its going to change us as a society. back in the 40's kids would do things. build **** and paint ****, now its play video games and ***** cause there is nothing to do.
from what i know of kids and teens, they have no idea about other people. hell they cant even form a opinon about someone, because of what the media says or what that song says...etc.
like Bush for example; ive talked to a lot of teens that hate Bush, but they cant even spell "government"! so they are taking what other people say as their own opinon and thats how it is with everything.
now granted there are some teens that are not followers like that there are some good parents out there, but they are few and far between.

There is no such thing as a dumb question.
Sometimes it takes a few minutes to figure out what a person is ACTUALLY asking though.
A question such as "What do girls like" can often be translated into "How do I understand what girls think" or "How do I get a girl to like me" or suchlike.
Many people don't directly ask the question that they are seeking answers to.

Welcome to adulthood. The older you get the dumber kids seem.
But I think we just don't remember that we asked dumb question when we were that age also. Don't be to harsh on them.
