Yes, such places exist. They treat homosexuality in the same manner that other sexual addictions are treated and with a remarkable rate of success.

I have heard of gay people going straight.
I havent heard of a center, but I`m sure there are people, places and books etc that can help you....keep looking if you dont get the right answer here.
JUST REMEMBERED a guy I saw speaking at a conference years back. A gay who turned straight - google 'Sy Rogers'. Very interesting story and he works now to help homosexuals who want to change do so.

I am not sure about a detox center. There is a religious group that claims to make people straight.

There are no reliable ex-gay programs that I have heard of. Most have a failure rate that is much higher that the 'success' rate.
If you really want to feel integrated as a person, contact a therapist to help you rid yourself of internalized homophobia. It is critical that you learn to love yourself, regardless of whether you are gay, bi or straight.
Good luck, sweetie.

There are places that exist that are supposed to turn people straight. All they really do is commit horrible crimes against humanity until their patients/victims suppress their sexuality for a random amount of time.

You can hear lots of stuff on tv...but that doesn't make it true...If it were true no one would be gay because they wouldn't have had to have gone through the painful process of 'coming out'...think about it.

Your query distinctly plenty solutions itself. If he acts "gay," (or mannerisms attributed to male homosexuals) yet you already know him to be at as quickly as, i.e. has sexual family members purely with ladies, then he's a at as quickly as guy. Or your words, a "gay at as quickly as guy." If he acts "at as quickly as" (or without mannerisms attributed to male homosexuals), yet you already know him to purely have sexual family members with different men, then he's gay. Or on your words, a "at as quickly as gay guy." The query I actual have is what's the element of your query? If a guy is gay or at as quickly as, he can act besides he chooses. Does he could act in a stereotypical way attributed to his sexual identity?

Yeah, believe it or not there is. It's a Christian thing. People believe that they can use the bible, god, jesus etc to turn people away from their homosexual tendencies. They believe that the tendency to be gay is exactly like wanting to steal, or having a habit of lying- it's a sin and it can be "washed away by the blood of jesus". It's sick, and wrong, but true.

there are bigots who insist we can be "cured." however, you can't cure something that's not a disease. these so-called "reparitve therapy" programs are nothing but brain-washing scams. I've even read stories of teens who were sent to "camps" who were even abused.
you can't change who you innately are. you're only lying to yourself and everyone else. and how can you truly be happy doing that? those people don't want us to do that for our own happiness, they want us to do it to make THEM happy...because they hate who we are. they are the ones who need therapy!
