It starts off with me getting in a lift in a steal structure. I can't explain the structure, but it is like a crane but with a couple of platforms in between the bottom and top of it, and it is quite high up.

I've always been scared of heights, and in this dream I got in the lift with my Mum and my Sister I think, and then it went all the way to the top of the structure though, and as I got out of the lift I saw how far down I was and mentioned that normally I don't go this far up, normally I only go half way. Then I noticed the only way back down was this thin ladder that went all the way down to the bottom, and I wasn't going to use that, no way.

So I said to myself "I'm going to have to jump off and kill myself because there's no way I'm going to go down that ladder and I'm starting to feel sick from being up that high.

So I step over to the side of the structure and I then saw that I seemed to be on a beach and some of the structure was over the water I think.
Then I woke up.

This dream seems like a dream of confidence.

Afraid of height = low esteem
going to jump off and kill yourself = giving up

Having yourself projected as being up on the top of structure shows that you are trying to struggle your life in something you cannot accomplish. You are trying to build up confidence. However, there are some difficulties and problems that may block you from doing that. Scared of heights symbolizes some fear in your life or perhaps it is your low esteeem that caused your less confidence in many way.

There also may implies that you are giving up on something very important things in life. You vent out all these helpless conscience in a dream as in scared of heights

Having fear of heights is sometimes a sign that you are afraid of responsibilities and risks. The same goes for me. It may mean that in the near future, you would need to assume more responsibility and take more risks, even if you do not fully accept them.

You may have problems ahead of you, and things may go so sick that you actually want to end it all by killing yourself.

But don't. Maybe there's a reason why you're being pushed that far up. Maybe, the view of the beach is a figurative object that things will be better.

Dreams are random imagery which we try to arrange in logical sequences in order to make sense of them.

Because they're really random, they have no intrinsic meaning.

As such, what you believe about them doesn't matter much, as long as you don't pay someone or buy a book for the privilege of being told what they mean. Save your money and make up your own meanings, you'll be better off.

in your dream you recalled saying you only go half way i think this dream means that you need to take more risks as you said the way back was worse than the way there and once you took that leap you realised that things are not always as perilous as they seem, i would suggest that you mother and sister may have commented on such things in the past or maybe you seek their approval above others

The elevator represents how you travel through life. I think you must be a timid person and so you don't quite follow through for fear you'll get hurt. Your fear is so strong you'd rather take certain death than risk the unknown pain. I think your brain is trying to tell you that this isn't a good way to live.
