partner as in lesbian relationship and of 23 years wow congrats thats longer than most marriage period. Yes if she's the right one by the sounds of it she is 23 years . Go for it. Find a city that allows you to be married. wish you all the best sounds great. happy for you both.

I'd say yes, provided the love is there. I'm assuming it is. Marriage is special--I think you and your girl need to go the distance here and give it that special meaning. We've all heard people say marriage changes everything (for the worse). I'd be wanting to promise each other you won't let that happen. It will be better than ever!

Why if you live in the US, then if she leaves you she can already file for divorce and get half anyways. 23 years is defiantly a Common Law Marriage.
