I bought an old book from goodwill. How can I find the value? I have already went to "Borders" and other book sites. I can't find this exact book. I can only find newer versions. The book is titled "The Art of the Exposition" by Eugen Neuhaus. It was published in 1915. In this book the pictures have been glued into t he book. Does anyone know if this book is a "find" or "just another old book?" What are some websites I can go to to find the value of this book? Thanks

Check your local yellow pages for someone that specializes in antique books and have them look it over for you. I would visit two or three places if possible to get a few different opinions. You can probably take the information you get from them and google it to get some further results. The pages just inside the cover should have some amount of information such as publisher, what printing it was in, dates and an ISBN number. You could try looking it up on the web using that number.

Antiques like books, vases, tables, chairs, spoons, etc., are worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. If you put it on eBay and it sells for $5, it's worth $5.
